Porsche 48 hours at Sebring. Feb 5-6 2011

Jim Hoddinott ended up co-driving the #259 2009 Carrera 2S PDK with JF Dumolin.

“Doc” Bob Seitz ran strong all weekend in the very competitive GTC3 Class, just missing a podium finish. He was one of the few racers running with SpeedMerchants that wasnt involved in some incident on track.

Shaun McKaigue moved up two Classes this year to GTC4.

In 2009, Shaun dominated the new GTB2 Class, winning the Class Championship for North America.

He ran extremely well in the first two Sprint Races Saturday.Sunday brought the main event, the Enduro, a strong suit for Shaun. Starting in the Top Ten, in a field if 60 cars, expectations were high. Unfortunately a very chaotic start saw Shaun drawn into a multi car incident that ended his day before the first lap was completed.

Scott Giannou moved up to the GTB2 Class for the 2010 Season, competing in The 09 Championship Car of Shaun McKaigue. Scott drove two great Sprint Races on Monday capturing Second in both races. Now considering he was running against JF Dumoulin in the Speed Merchants GTB2 PDK race car, his second place finishes are quite a victory! Well Done Scott! Scott ran another great race in Sundays Enduro. Moving through the field for 90 minutes, fighting off continuous challengers, finally resulting in his first Win in GTB2 and the 2010 Season.

Now to get ready for Road Atlanta in March 🙂
